Get Out & VOTE!
Alas, I took advantage of the early voting system and registered my vote early to avoid the long lines that everyone keeps claiming will overtake the polling locations on November 4th. For those of you who procrastinated and have not yet voted I encourage you to vote on Tuesday… I know, I know, you don’t want to stand in the lines. But think of it this way, it’s a great way to avoid work on Tuesday. Additionally, you will cancel out the opposing party’s vote. One vote does make a difference and you can cancel out one of their votes just by casting your ballot.
In these final days before the election, just remember, that Vice President Dick Cheney has thrown the full weight of his support behind presidential candidate John McCain. Cheney made the following statement, "I’m delighted to support John McCain and I’m pleased that he’s chosen a running mate with executive talent, toughness, and common sense, our next vice president in Sarah Palin." Don’t pinch yourself, McCain, it’s true! Cheney has given you a RINGING endorsement.
And in Obama’s court is Republican Colin Powell who made the statement, "[Obama] has both style and substance. I think he is a transformational figure… He has met the standard of being a successful president, being an exceptional president."
Make your choice and get out and VOTE.
