It’s totally the truth, don’t even doubt it for a minute
Conversation with random gay friend that I may love now:
Me: It’s so great to see you again!
Him: It’s been too long! I can’t believe it, girl. You look fab-u-lous.
Me: I know. It’s so true. Tell me again.
Him: You are totally rocking the long hair. You are completely channelling Nicole Kidman. I love the look.
Me: I couldn’t agree more. Do you want to come home with me?
I think this totally makes up for the fact that only days earlier my hateful friends mocked me when I suggested that Nicole Kidman would be commissioned to play me on the silver screen in my life story.
Scoff away but I would hate to tell you "I told you so" when I am sipping limoncello martinis with Nic as she flips through the screenplay of my staggeringly wonderful life telling me that she can’t wait to tell my story on the big screen. Yeah, that’s right, my life will some day be so exciting that it will reside alongside such classic Nicole Kidman movies as Cold Mountain, The Hours, The Others, Moulin Rouge, Batman Forever, Practical Magic, Eyes Wide Shut, Bewitched, To Die For, Days of Thunder, and my favorite… Far and Away.
