I Heart Pumpkin Pie
My parents still insist on having a turkey for Thanksgiving despite the fact that they are going to have to freeze 3/4’s of the bird for later consumption. I’m sure my dad will be enjoying turkey sandwiches and turkey soup well past the new year. I guess that’s what happens when the holiday celebration gets smaller and the dinner stays the same size. Unfortunately it’s difficult to find tiny turkeys and my dad refuses to eat a tofurkey so they will be enjoying the same frozen bird again for Christmas dinner. Although I will not be devouring a bird for the holiday I will be enjoying the fabulous spread of side dishes. I cannot wait for the yummy goodness of pumpkin pie… and cranberries… and sweet potatoes with lots and lots of marshmallows… and mashed potatoes… and buttery dinner rolls. I would start fasting now but I would hate for my stomach to shrink and there not to be enough room for all of the savory goodness. Can you hear me salivating through the keyboard yet?
are you aware that drool is not good for the keyboard?

My keyboard will recover but my stomach might not recover if I don’t get a piece of pumpkin pie soon!
