I Think A Tiny Bit of My Soul Just Died…
I knew this day would come but I didn’t want to admit that it was here. As many of you may know I have a slight "obsession" with the Old 97s. I most recently saw them in concert in December as well as a few times during the past year, the year before, and every year before that for the past ten years. It’s not as though I stalk them on tour; I simply make time to see them when they pass through town which they are known to do 3 or 4 times a year. It recently came to my attention that they would be making their way back into town for the St. Paddy’s Day After-Party concert on Saturday, March 14; a mere month after I hit the sandy soil of Namibia. Sigh. I wonder if they would consider an international tour? Or at least a bi-continental tour… What do you say guys?
